I’ll start by saying that Chris and Melissa have lead me on an awesome journey to this Goggleworks Wedding day, literally. This is a tough thing to do because I’ve always loved to explore and see new things. So locally I have seen quite a bit, but not enough, this is the one thing I love about doing photography is being able to capture different events in different atmospheres. Their journey through being engaged brought me to this amazing GoggleWorks wedding! Prior to their wedding, they asked me at their consultation, “How do you feel about hiking for our engagement shoot?”, without hesitation I said “Lets do it!”. I had been hiking since I was really young up in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine in Acadia. The major difference was about 45 more pounds in body weight and I would be doing it with all of my gear. Little did I know that I’d be fording a creek with my gear on my back, but I was over the top about it because it was different and they brought me into their world and their passion. We had an absolute blast during the shoot and I was so excited for the wedding day. We started at the gorgeous Stirling Guest Hotel for the bridal prep. This mansion was erected in 1892 and has since then been restored and used as a guest hotel. It sits right in the heart of Reading, PA. Later that night we ended at the venue for this awesome GoggleWorks wedding. The GoggleWorks has quite a bit of history as well. It was an old goggle factory that has recently been transformed into a creative art space and gallery. The building has a raw event space for weddings in which you can decorate however you want. Through the pictures you will see the awesomeness of their big day! Now on to the pictures!
