Little did I know, that I had worked with David before his Farmington Gardens Wedding, when he was in another bridal party and I briefly met Danielle and David at that wedding! We re-connected and they brought me out to document their Farming Gardens Wedding in Farmington, CT., and had an absolute blast! The beginning of the morning was very relaxing as the girls were lounging in their robes and the guys tapped into some whiskey while straightening their bow-ties. We traveled to the ceremony site where they tied the knot in St Sebastian Church, a breathtaking church in Middletown, CT. When Danielle and I spoke on the phone prior to the wedding when figuring out the locations, she said that hiking and outdoors played a large role in their relationship. They got engaged in one of my favorite places as well, Acadia National Park. So naturally we were trying to find an outdoorsy location where we were able to do their portraits. Most of the places lead us pretty far away from where we needed to be. We found a location in Hartford, CT., called Elizabeth Park. We managed to find a couple really great spots immediately that fit with the look they wanted. It involved me getting into a creek…but thats what I do haha. It was finally party time and we had a bridal party anxious to hit the dance floor! We cut one of the most massive wedding cakes I’ve seen and then rocked out with the Silver Arrow Band through the night! Big thank you goes out to Jashim Jalal for second shooting for me!
