When getting ready with Joe and Christine thoughts kept running through everyones head about rain. Not only because of their outdoor ceremony, but because of another special surprise. After getting ready we headed over the venue at Pen Ryn Mansion right on the Delaware River. Here they wanted to do their first look down by the river. Next was the ceremony, and might I add that I think this is the only wedding where I have witnessed 2 ceremonies in one wedding. Right as the bridesmaids finished walking down the isle the rain started coming down heavy. All of the guests raced into the Mansion to stay dry. Thanks to my Dark Sky application we knew the rain would only last 13 minutes. Well, sure enough 16 minutes after the rain cleared and the clouds parted ways for an awesome double rainbow. The ceremony restarted with the golden sun, and here comes the big surprise. As the bride is supposed to come down the isle, a helicopter comes sweeping over the ceremony about 50 feet above us, landing at the foot of the isle and ouut walked the bride with her parents…how bad ass? Take a look for yourself!
