Being a Philadelphia Wedding Photographer, you become very familiar with a lot of the city venues inside Philadelphia. The funny thing is that I have never been Knowlton Mansion and its minutes from me! I had an absolute blast shooting at Knowlton Mansion because the venue had such amazing character. The lighting and texture created an incredibly warm and comforting mood for this awesome wedding! Cindy and Chris worked so hard to make this wedding “them”. There was so much emotion throughout the day, Cindy AND Chris both teared up at the alter and had the rest of the guests and bridal party tearing as well. Every aspect of the wedding had a personal DIY touch that really brought this wedding day full circle and brought Cindy and Chris’ personality into every part of the wedding. The photo booth was made by them. Yes, they designed and made a complete wooded wall with trim, wallpaper, and picture frames that you put your head in for a photo booth. The cake topper was hand made by Chris, and old vinyl records were the guest books, as Chris is a musician (his band shoot I did a while back). The brides bouquet was handmade by the bride as well, consisting of flowers made from old family wedding dresses and jewelry. The list goes on, but we are here to see the pictures! This wedding was so awesome and I had an absolute blast shooting it!
