How are the images delivered and what is an online gallery?
The High Resolution images are delivered to you through digital download. You will also have a personalized password-protected online website gallery where you, and your guests, will have access to all of the wedding images as well.
When should we book?
Due to shooting a high volume of weddings every year, Joe Dantone Photography cannot hold dates without a signed contract and retainer payment. All wedding bookings are first come first served basis only. If you are interested in booking, the best time to do that would be as soon as you can.
How do we book our date and how much is a retainer payment?
A retainer payment of $1,500 and a signed contract will hold your date with Joe Dantone Photography and that payment can be made in Credit or Debit form.
What is a “Get to Know You Session” and is it needed?
A Get to Know You Session is always encouraged. Not only is it a time where you, the couple, can get some awesome pictures. It also serves as a time where we can get to know eachother. Wether it being shooting at your favorite location, or just a day out with me documenting you guys doing an activity you both enjoy together. This helps you get into a comfort zone in front of my camera so on the wedding day you don’t even realize I am there, and you will be comfortable in front of the camera. Our Get to Know You Sessions are only booked out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and some Fridays throughout the year.
Do we prepare a “shot list” for you?
The only shot list that I work from during the day is a shot list of the formal family portraits. Being that I shoot a documentary style of photography, mostly all the images through the day are captured naturally and organically. If I follow a specific shot list of things to get throughout the day, this will pull my attention from how I typically shoot and there will be a possibility I will be missing key moments because I am focusing on the shot list. For this very reason I do not shoot from a list.
